We Won!

We won. Simple as that. It is good to get out of here with the W. It's never easy winning on the road and the 49ers have a hard nosed defense that did a good job today. Like Coach said to us after the game this one was winning by any means necessary. You don't always win pretty, we rarely win pretty, but this was a just get it done win. You have no idea how important this was. We have a six-hour flight in front of us and I can't imagine what it be like on that plane with an L instead of a W. The atmosphere will be a lot looser, guys will be laughing. Everything will be better, the food, the movies, everything because we won.

Finally, the season has made its way to us. We've been through all the off-season and summer. Working out like our lives depended on it, goin thru the weight lifting and running when it hurt and you didn’t want to do no more; but u think to yourself this last one will give me my edge or that last little umff to push thru a tackle or to make a tackle while out of position...so u push harder to run that last hill or gasser or lift that weight u been struggling with.

Through all this, the dedication and focus that’s been put into making sure your on top of your game and the game not on top of you, its time for the big show. So the big show is here and I’m trying to get ready to at least get a taste of Monday Night’s game against Cincy. I have been battling a high ankle sprain that happened vs. the NYG. I was making this crushing block, LOL right, or a block on a DB and as i was driving him down the field a group of big boys chasing Mike Anderson like a pack of lions huntin for food and the pack fell on me... I was like O MY GOD...

Demetrius Williams came up and asked me if i was alright i just shook my head and said "Nope". I got up hobbled off and got the bad report... its been a tuff 3 weeks for me, being injured is hard to handle for anybody when u know what u can do, but all u can do is watch and say what u woulda done if that was you...

Well i thank God for allowing me to b able to practice this week its still pretty sore if anybody has had a high ankle sprain where u feel it up your leg you know what im talking bout.. I want everybody to get your popcorn ready cause it’s gonna b a great year... full of excitement and memories

Scrimmage Anyone?

So yes tomoro is my 1st scrimmage that ive participated in since ive been a raven... the first 2 years i had hamstring problems so it kept me from bein able to go thru the full trainin camp, and anybody who has ever had a hamstring problem knows how bad that sucks... and for me i couldnt believe i had any problem with my hamstrings cuz i never had them in college so im like what in the world is goin on... and if anybody has ever seen me in person u know that my legs are like little chicken legs, so i didnt even know i had hamstrings... imma tell u this about the scrimmage tomoro im nervous!! yes nervous! i actually get nervous b4 every game or whenever i go against an opponent... i think its bcause i want to do so good and pretty much b perfect but we all know nobody is perfect, but i believe as long as thats what were striving for then its gone b hard to fall far from it.. Do u think somebody can mess-up perfectly??? Well i just wanted to share that lil bit of information wit yall... preciate the ear take care and till next time
